The Facility Safety Systems (FSS) Permit application is part of the eInspections project which complies with the Federal Government's e-gov initiative for the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), ushering enhanced information quality, availability, and process efficiencies.

The FSS Permit application will enable Industry (Operators) to create and submit a facility safety system permit request, upload attachments, upload safety system data, and maintain components and safety devices. It will enable BSEE Inspectors to review requests, render a decision (approve, deny, or return), apply mitigation measures, generate reports, and maintain questions, review types, mitigations, and departure lists.
